Mohamed Ibrahim is a journalist from Somalia who was granted asylum in Finland recently. Before coming to Finland he worked as The New York Times correspondent in Mogadishu for the last 10 years.

Mohamed Ibrahim has been under heavy accusations both in Finland and Somalia. The Finnish Union of Journalists told in November that the accusations are false. Ibrahim is under a hateful smear campaign and the accusations he faces have no factual basis.
